Location: Maldon

Hours: Monday - Friday - Part or Full time hours

Salary: £13.68 - £14.00

Are you immediately available and happy to take on a temporary assignment for a minimum of 5 weeks? Do you have a working knowledge of EMIS?

Duties include:

  • Processing telephone requests for appointments, using Systmone or EMIS, ensuring callers are directed to the appropriate healthcare professional
  • Processing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail
  • Taking messages and passing on information
  • Filing and retrieving paperwork
  • Processing repeat prescriptions
  • Computer data entry, processing and recording information
  • Initiating contact with and responding to requests from patients
  • Data processing, filing, photocopying and scanning
  • Any other duties requested by the Practice Manager
  • NHS smartcard
