Are you immediately available and happy to take on a temporary assignment for a minimum of 5 weeks? Do you have a working knowledge of EMIS?
Duties include:
- Processing telephone requests for appointments, using Systmone or EMIS, ensuring callers are directed to the appropriate healthcare professional
- Processing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail
- Taking messages and passing on information
- Filing and retrieving paperwork
- Processing repeat prescriptions
- Computer data entry, processing and recording information
- Initiating contact with and responding to requests from patients
- Data processing, filing, photocopying and scanning
- Any other duties requested by the Practice Manager
- NHS smartcard
