Do you have previous NHS Gp experience using Emis or Systmone?? We are working with a lovely Gp practice in the area of Withington and surrounding areas who require the support of a Medical Receptionist/ Administrator on a full time ongoing temporary basis. Our client requires someone who can hit the ground running with a good working knowledge of Emis or Systmone and previous experience working within a GP surgery, along with an excellent telephone manner and customer services skills. Duties – Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner – Schedule appointments and manage the appointment diary efficiently – Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and direct them to the appropriate personnel – Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality – Process patient registrations, insurance forms, and payments – Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry – Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow Qualifications – Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role – Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is advantageous – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail – Proficiency in using office software and electronic health records systems – Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment If you are a proactive individual with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care through efficient administrative support, we welcome your application for the Medical Receptionist position.
