Are you a passionate and experienced Practice Nurse looking to join a friendly and supportive GP surgery? We are currently seeking a dedicated nurse to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to develop their career within a collaborative and forward-thinking primary care environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care across a range of clinical areas. Responsibilities will include proactive support in some or all of the following:
- Diabetes and other chronic disease management
- Health promotion and screening
- Travel health services
- Cervical cytology
- Sexual health
- Baby, childhood, and adult immunisations and vaccinations
- Active involvement within the Primary Care Network (PCN)
You will be working within a modern clinical system using TPP SystmOne and will be supported by a well-established, multidisciplinary team.

Person Specification
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Nurse with current NMC registration
- Proven experience in General Practice Nursing
- Cervical screening qualification/experience
- Experience in long-term condition management (e.g. diabetes, respiratory, cardiovascular)
- Competence in complex wound care
- Experience delivering immunisations and vaccinations
- Strong understanding of General Practice Nursing responsibilities

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to high standards of patient care
