HR Administrator role Hours : 30 – 35 hours office hours are 8.30am- 5pm Location : Bishops Stortford Job Purpose To provide administrative support to HR , ensuring the smooth and confidential handling of all HR-related processes. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and discretion across all areas of HR administration. Main Responsibilities and Duties * Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, including drafting job advertisements, screening candidates, and attending interviews where required. * Prepare and manage HR documentation such as offer letters, contracts of employment, and reference checks. * Support the onboarding process for new starters, including coordination of inductions. * Provide administrative support to the payroll department when necessary. * Supply accurate HR data and reports to line managers as required. * Producing reports and statistics as needed. * Respond to routine HR queries from employees and line managers, ensuring timely and helpful communication. * Support meetings by issuing invitations, taking accurate minutes, and drafting outcome letters in line with procedure. * Maintain professional communication and liaison with Line Managers, Company Directors, and Payroll. Qualifications & Prerequisites * Minimum of 2 yearsβ administrative experience, preferably within a HR or manufacturing environment. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (advanced skills preferred). * Knowledge of payroll processes is advantageous.
