We are currently recruiting reliable and professional Hospital Porters to support a busy hospital environment in Bristol. This role is essential in helping the hospital operate efficiently by safely transporting patients, medical equipment, supplies, and documentation throughout the site. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport patients between wards, departments, and treatment areas
  • Move medical equipment, beds, trolleys, and supplies across the hospital
  • Assist clinical staff with non-medical support duties
  • Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and safety during transportation
  • Deliver items and documentation promptly throughout the hospital
  • Follow all hospital health & safety and infection control procedures
  • Maintain a professional and courteous manner at all times

Requirements

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Physically fit and capable of being on your feet for extended periods
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible with shifts
  • Previous porter or healthcare experience is desirable but not essential
  • Enhanced DBS may be required
