Staff Partners are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established, supportive and close-knit GP Practice in the Birmingham area, a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Phlebotomist.
Responsibilities
- Use of Systmone or Emis - logging accurate patient records
- Samples - ensuring correct labelling, packaging and storing
- Performing venepuncture
- Working alongside the nursing team
- NHS Health checks
- ECG
- FLU Vaccinations
- BP/weight
- Diabetes foot checks
- Obtaining consent from patients for blood samples
- Full or part-time hours available dependent on requirements
Qualifications
- Must have UK Phlebotomy experience
- Hold the Phlebotomy certification
- Have GP / NHS experience carrying out Phlebotomy
