Staff partners are working with a local client in Essex who are looking for an HR Advisor to assist the team in providing general HR support. If you have experience in an HR Advisor role, this may be the position for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as the first point of contact via telephone, email, and in person to respond to queries, redirecting matters appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Supporting the HR Manager on the interpretation and application of the Trust's HR policies and procedures.
- Providing general advice on queries over a range of HR issues, such as annual leave calculations, flexible working requests, maternity/paternity leave, etc.
- Offering consistent advice and guidance to managers using defined levels of expertise and knowledge in dealing with HR matters, including attendance, capability/performance, disciplinary, and resourcing issues.
Requirements:
- Relevant HR qualification.
- Demonstrable experience in an operational generalist role, covering a wide range of employee relations responsibilities including sickness, management of employee relations cases, disciplinaries, grievances, etc.
- Good understanding of the key issues facing the trust and the wider health economy.
This position will offer hybrid working: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Full-time hours are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
