We are currently recruiting for a Practice Nurse position within a well-established GP Practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and confident nurse looking to take on a leadership role within a supportive primary care environment. The successful candidate will be expected to confidently manage a broad range of General Practice nursing duties, including:

  • Adult and childhood vaccination and immunisation programmes
  • Travel vaccinations and travel health advice
  • Cervical cytology (smears)
  • Health assessments and new patient health checks
  • Hypertension management and reviews
  • Asthma, COPD, and Diabetes clinics/reviews
  • Wound care and dressings
  • Long-term condition management
  • Medication reviews and treatment monitoring
  • Family planning support
  • Health promotion and preventative care
  • Phlebotomy, ECGs, and treatment room procedures
  • Opportunistic care and patient education
