We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality early childhood education and care within a nurturing environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your management and leadership skills while fostering the development and well-being of young children. The position is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about early years education and childcare.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's developmental needs.
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and happiness of all children in your care.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and daily routines.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
- Support children's emotional and social development through nurturing interactions.
- Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organised, and stimulating learning environment.
- Assist with the organisation of nursery routines, including meal times, naps, and play sessions.
- Contribute to the ongoing assessment and planning of individualised learning programmes.
- Supervise children during outings or activities outside the nursery premises, including driving when necessary.
Skills:
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood setting.
- Strong management and leadership abilities to oversee daily nursery operations effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with children, parents, and team members.
- Organised with the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Driving licence is desirable for transporting children or attending external activities.
- Passionate about childcare with a genuine interest in supporting children's growth and development.
