- NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification

Some of the Senior Room leader responsibilities will include:
- To work closely with the nursery manager and ensure the nursery is a safe, secure environment for children to learn and grow.
- To manage staff supervisions.
- Supporting and directing staff in the room and ensuring adult/child ratios are met.
- Observing children and managing their learning and development records.
- To work with EYFS Curriculum and planning exciting age appropriate activities both indoors and outdoors.
- Working as a keyworker reviewing, maintaining and updating records for each child.
- To build positive relationships with parents and carers.
- Working to nursery policy and procedures in relation to Safeguarding.
- Attending staff meetings and participating in open days, sports days, summer fairs etc.
