Person Specification:- NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification
- Experience of working in a childcare setting and supporting children’s development
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
- Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)
- To work closely with the nursery manager and ensure the nursery is a safe, secure environment for children to learn and grow.
- To manage staff supervisions & performance appraisals, identifying training needs.
- Supporting and directing staff in the room and ensuring adult/child ratios are met.
- Observing children and managing their learning and development records.
- To work with EYFS Curriculum and planning exciting age appropriate activities both indoors and outdoors.
- Working as a keyworker reviewing, maintaining and updating records for each child.
- To build positive relationships with parents and carers.
- Working to nursery policy and procedures in relation to Safeguarding, Health & Safety.
- Attending parent’s evenings and partaking in open days, sports days, summer fairs etc.
- Attending staff meetings and training as required.
- To maintain confidentiality.
- Working 40 Hours per week.
