Person Specification:
- NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent
- Knowledge of EYFS Curriculum
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
- Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)
- Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role
Some of the Nursery Nurse responsibilities will include:
- To work with EYFS Curriculum, set up exciting and inviting activities for children
- Promote diversity and equal opportunity
- To work in partnership with parents and key interfacing groups
- Keyworker responsibilities, maintaining children’s development files
- Accurately completing documentation i.e. accident, incident, medication forms
- Supporting children at meal times and with personal care
- Working to nursery policy and procedures
- Attending monthly staff meetings, open days and parent’s evenings as required
