Staff for Education are proud to be working in partnership with a brilliant Secondary School in West Bridgford and we are currently recruiting for a passionate ICT Teacher to work at this school starting as soon as possible. This is a full time, long term position that will be until the end of the academic year. This is a great opportunity to work in a brilliant Secondary School that has fantastic facilities and a strong and supportive team of staff.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging ICT lessons up to GCSE level in line with curriculum
  • Managing student behaviour in line with the schools policies
  • Demonstrating practical knowledge such as programming, algorithms or core concepts
  • Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment
  • Regularly assessing and monitoring students’ progress and giving feedback

In order to be considered for the position, you must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification. You must also hold a DBS Certificate on the Online Update Service or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS.
