Staff for Education are proud to be working in partnership with an excellent Secondary School in Nottingham and we are currently recruiting for an innovative and passionate Art Teacher to work at this school starting in September. This is a full time, long-term position that will be until the end of the academic year. This is a great opportunity to work in a fantastic Secondary School that has amazing facilities, and a strong supportive team of staff with excellent resources.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons up to GCSE level
  • Managing student behaviour in line with the schools policies
  • Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment
  • Regularly assessing and monitoring students’ progress and giving feedback

The successful candidate will create a stimulating and supportive learning environment, encouraging students to explore their creativity through various art forms. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing art lessons that align with curriculum standards and promote artistic growth.

In order to apply for the position, you must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification. You must also hold a DBS Certificate on the Online Update Service or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS.
