Staff for Education are currently supporting a brilliant Primary School in the Southwell area and we are recruiting for a PPA Primary Teacher to work at this school on a part time, long term basis starting in February 2026. As a PPA Primary Teacher you will play a vital part in working across various year groups within the school and covering classes whilst Teachers have their scheduled time for planning and assessment.
Job Description
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across several classes and year groups
- Ensuring the lessons are engaging for all pupils in the class
- Managing classroom behaviour at all times
- Meeting with class teachers to feedback on lessons
- Supporting individual needs of pupils in the class
In order to be considered for the role, you must:
- Have QTS or other recognised teaching qualification
- Strong classroom management skills
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
- Have a passion for working with young people
