Staff for Education are working in partnership with a lovely Primary School in the Mansfield area and we are recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated KS2 Teaching Assistant to start in April 2026. This is a full time, long term position until the end of the academic year at least, due to increased needs of the class.
As a Primary KS2 Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the class teacher during lessons
- Working with small groups of pupils or on a 1 to 1 basis
- Running small group exercises
- Ensuring students understand the lessons and work they are completing
To be successful for the role, you will:
- Have a recognised Teaching Assistant Qualification
- Have experience working within a school environment
- Have a passion for working with young people and enhancing their learning
