Cover Supervisor

Staff for Education are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to work at a Secondary School in the Hucknall area to start in September 2025. This is a full time, long term position up until the end of the academic year with the potential of a permanent contract for the right candidate. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment for students. Your main responsibilities will include: • Managing student behaviour in line with the school policies • Delivering pre-planned lessons to the class when a teacher is absent • Providing clear instructions to the students to ensure they understand the work set and their learning objectives • Providing support and guidance to students when needed • Collecting in students work at the end of the lesson to give to the relevant member of staff • Reporting any safeguarding concerns to the relevant person at the school In order to be considered for the role, you must: • Have experience working in a school setting • Strong classroom management skills • Have excellent communication skills • Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one • Have a passion for working with young people Working for Staff for Education is a fantastic opportunity for those looking for a flexible work-life balance as it gives you the choice of the number of days per week that you…
