We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Hygiene Operatives to join our client at a busy food production factory. This role is essential to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all production areas, ensuring compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations.

Pay: £15.05ph

Hours: 4 on 4 off 6pm-6am

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning tasks across production, packaging, and storage areas, including machinery and equipment
  • Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
  • Ensure all hygiene records and documentation are completed accurately and on time
  • Report any maintenance or hygiene issues to supervisors
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance and Production teams to meet hygiene standards
  • Adhere strictly to company hygiene, health & safety, and food safety policies and procedures
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Requirements:

  • Previous hygiene or cleaning experience in a food production or similar environment is desirable
  • Basic understanding of food safety and cleaning protocols (e.g., COSHH)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude
  • Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks and manual handling
  • Flexible with working hours and willing to work various shifts if required
