We are currently recruiting Semi-Skilled and Skilled Operatives to join a busy modular construction and manufacturing environment based in the Catfoss area, YO25.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
Pay Rates
- Semi-Skilled Operative: £14.32 per hour
- Skilled Operative: £16.00 per hour
- Overtime paid after 39 working hours
The Role
- Working as part of a production team, duties will include:
- Ripping out and refitting modular building interiors
- Installation and fitting of modular building components
- General joinery, finishing and refurbishment work
- Use of hand and power tools
- Following technical drawings and specifications
- Carrying out repairs, modifications and upgrades to units
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard
- Maintaining a safe and organised work area
Requirements
- Previous experience within construction, manufacturing, modular buildings, refurbishment, fit-out, joinery, or similar environments preferred
- Ability to use hand and power tools confidently
- Own basic tools required, including impact drivers, screwdrivers and other essential hand tools
- Good attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
