We are currently recruiting Semi-Skilled and Skilled Operatives to join a busy modular construction and manufacturing environment based in the Catfoss area, YO25.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm

Pay Rates

  • Semi-Skilled Operative: £14.32 per hour
  • Skilled Operative: £16.00 per hour
  • Overtime paid after 39 working hours

The Role

Working as part of a production team, duties will include:

  • Ripping out and refitting modular building interiors
  • Installation and fitting of modular building components
  • General joinery, finishing and refurbishment work
  • Use of hand and power tools
  • Following technical drawings and specifications
  • Carrying out repairs, modifications and upgrades to units
  • Ensuring work is completed to a high standard
  • Maintaining a safe and organised work area

Requirements

  • Previous experience within construction, manufacturing, modular buildings, refurbishment, fit-out, joinery, or similar environments preferred
  • Ability to use hand and power tools confidently
  • Own basic tools required, including impact drivers, screwdrivers and other essential hand tools
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic
