Staff Co Direct are recruiting 7.5 Tonne Drivers for ongoing home delivery work based in Tamworth Regular ongoing work or Part time work to suit your lifestyle bookings This is a well-run operation with a modern fleet, friendly transport team, and secure on-site parking.

  • Pay Rates (PAYE)
  • AM (Mon-Sun): £15.31ph plus holiday pay, or £17.15 per shift including holiday pay
  • Overtime after 48Hrs ; £22.97 plus holiday pay, or £25.74 ph including holiday pay

What the role involves
2 man home delivery operation delivering white goods/furniture to residential properties, heavy lifting if required.

Well-maintained fleet.

Shifts are typically 10 - 12 hrs shifts, 05:30/09:30 start times approx, This is a customer focused role so not just a driver, some deliveries include installation which training will be given.

The role is working 5 days out of 7 for full time work.

The role does entail a driver assessment followed by 3 day training induction and then you would be buddied up with a trainer for your 1st few days to ensure you get a full onboarding process for the role.

  • Holds a valid 7.5 Tonne licence
  • Has a valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
  • Has no more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR or DD codes)
  • A D & A test will be held at Assmt
