We at StaffCo Direct are actively recruiting for HGV2 / LGV2 / C / Class 2 Drivers based in Dunstable on a Temp to Perm basis. We are looking for highly motivated, flexible drivers who can take on the company's ethos and assist us in the support of our client's day to day operation.
Pay Rates PAYE:
- 4 on 4 off - £17.21 per hour plus weekly pay (0200 to 0700 start times)
- OT after 40.25 hours - £23.28 per hour
- Temp to Perm!
The Job:
- Responsible for the accurate, timely movement and delivery of our customers' products.
- Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
- Securing load of the vehicle to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
- Always provide excellent customer service and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
- Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary.
- Attend essential training to carry out the Driver role.
What we are looking for:
- HGV2/LGV2 UK Issued license (Minimum 2 years).
- Current valid CPC and Digi Tacho.
- No more than 6 penalty points (No IN, DR or DD Codes).
- Excellent Knowledge of the UK road network.
- Great communication skills.
- Professional attitude.
- Well presented.
- Physically Fit.
