Job Description
HGV Class 1 (CE) Driver – Sherburn in Elmet£21.01ph – £28.00ph | Weekly Pay | Block Bookings | 6 months' experience Staff Co Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (CE) drivers for ongoing work in Sherburn in Elmet.
We're looking for professional and motivated drivers for both AM & PM shifts, with immediate starts available.
This is a well-organised operation offering consistent weekly bookings, and opportunities for full-time positions.
Pay Rates (PAYE): Monday-Friday AM: £18.75ph + Holiday Monday-Friday PM : £19.50ph + Holiday
- Saturday: £20.25ph + Holiday
- Sunday: £21.00ph + Holiday
- Bank
Holiday: £25.00ph + Holiday What the role involves: PM SHIFT- Start times between 11:00-13:00, store deliveries – manual unload required.
AM SHIFT- Start times between 04:00-07:00, store deliveries – manual unload required.
A fully paid 2-day assessment and induction is required before starting, followed by ongoing block booking opportunities and potential full-time positions.
Our ideal candidate:• Holds a valid HGV Class 1 (CE) UK licence held for at least 6 months'• Has a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card• Has no more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR, DD or TT convictions)• Has good communication skills and a professional attitude• Is physically fit and well-presented Staff Co Direct provides weekly pay, paid assessments, PPE, easy online timesheets, ongoing support from a dedicated account manager, and consistent weekly bookings.
