We are currently recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our agency team. You will be supporting elderly residents, including those living with dementia, across a range of nursing and residential care settings in Southampton and Fareham. This is a flexible, zero-hours role offering full-time hours for those available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality personal care to residents
  • Support individuals with daily living activities (washing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
  • Provide compassionate care for elderly residents, including those with dementia
  • Assist with mobility and safe handling
  • Maintain accurate records and follow care plans
  • Work collaboratively with care home staff and other healthcare professionals
  • Promote dignity, respect, and independence at all times
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months’ experience working in a care setting
  • Experience supporting elderly individuals and/or dementia care
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure) on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
  • Up-to-date mandatory training certificates
  • Ability to provide 2 professional references
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, professional, and compassionate approach
