We are currently recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our agency team. You will be supporting elderly residents, including those living with dementia, across a range of nursing and residential care settings in Southampton and Fareham. This is a flexible, zero-hours role offering full-time hours for those available.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality personal care to residents
- Support individuals with daily living activities (washing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Provide compassionate care for elderly residents, including those with dementia
- Assist with mobility and safe handling
- Maintain accurate records and follow care plans
- Work collaboratively with care home staff and other healthcare professionals
- Promote dignity, respect, and independence at all times
- Minimum 6 months’ experience working in a care setting
- Experience supporting elderly individuals and/or dementia care
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure) on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Up-to-date mandatory training certificates
- Ability to provide 2 professional references
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, professional, and compassionate approach
- This role is for full-time availability only – applicants must be able to work regular, consistent hours
