We have recently secured a new regular client in Ferndown, Dorset and are now recruiting experienced Care Assistants to support ongoing shifts. The Role
As a Temporary Care Assistant, you will be supporting residents with day-to-day care in a nursing or residential care home setting. Duties may include:
- Assisting residents with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Supporting with mobility and safe moving & handling
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting at mealtimes and encouraging hydration
- Supporting residents with dementia or complex needs (where required)
- Reporting concerns to senior staff and completing relevant documentation
- Maintaining dignity, privacy, and person-centred care at all times
Shift Availability
- Days and Nights available
- Regular work available in Ferndown
- Zero hours contract β work to suit your availability
Eligibility Criteria (Important)
- Must be eligible to work full-time hours in the UK
- No sponsorship available
- Not suitable for students (continuity requirement)
- Minimum 3 months paid care experience in the UK
- Enhanced DBS check required
- If you do not have one on the update service, Staff 2000 Recruitment can assist with renewing this if needed
- Care Certificate preferred
- Refresher / update training can be arranged by the agency if required
- Must be able to provide 2 satisfactory employment references
