Job Title: Local Handyman
Location: Coventry – Head Office Based
Employment Type: Part-time (20 hours per week)

Pay rate: £12.21 per hour

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Local Handyman to support the day-to-day upkeep of our head office, warehouse, and vehicles. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in keeping spaces clean, organized, and well-maintained. You’ll be responsible for a variety of hands-on tasks that ensure our site and fleet are always ready for business and events.

Stadium serves its clients with one goal in mind-keeping people safe. This is a goal we consistently achieve through the three key parts of our business. Event services, training, and temporary Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM). We tailor all three of these services to our clients’ wishes, which range from football clubs, events like Silverstone through to local authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive company vehicles as needed to carry out tasks (fuelling, transport, errands, etc.)
  • Regularly clean and maintain the warehouse and surrounding areas.
  • Prepare, clean, and load equipment for upcoming events.
  • Wash and clean company vehicles (inside and out)
  • Ensure all vehicles are fuelled and ready for use.
  • Keep external areas tidy and free of weeds or debris; maintain plants and greenery.
  • Support general maintenance and handyman tasks around the office and warehouse.
  • Perform basic repairs and DIY tasks as required.
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence (or applicable local license)
  • Proven experience in general maintenance or handyman roles
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all weather
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in a job well done.
