Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial delivery of pipeline opportunities from portfolio assessment through Operational Launch to successful market execution, ensuring alignment across all key stakeholders.
- Coordinate and deliver all commercial pre-launch activities, including Go-To-Market preparation for new Gx launches.
- Own the commercial launch project plan, driving market research, channel strategy development, launch readiness, and real-time communication across commercial teams.
- Assess in-market opportunities for local pipeline expansion through detailed market, competitor, and portfolio reviews to support Local BD initiatives and long-term growth.
- Support Local BD activities, including evaluation of partners, product dossiers, and cross-functional project management through governance and approval processes.
- Own and present commercial business cases, financial evaluations, and risk assessments to support critical portfolio and launch decisions.
- As the UK commercial lead, influence senior stakeholders across local and global teams by translating complex UK market dynamics into clear commercial insights, demonstrating value, and securing alignment on strategic portfolio and launch priorities.
- Build and maintain launch tracking tools and dashboards to provide stakeholders with accurate, real-time launch visibility and decision-making support.
- Drive continuous improvement of NPL and EPD processes to maximise launch success, improve operational efficiency, and support delivery of ambitious commercial targets.
- Manage urgent portfolio and launch-related priorities, effectively balancing multiple projects and stakeholders within a fast-paced environment.
- Own post-regulatory submission launch business cases, financial forecasting, and commercial performance tracking.
- Lead high-priority and time-sensitive commercial Rx projects, ensuring strong stakeholder engagement, clear accountability, and successful delivery.

- Proven experience driving growth within the pharmaceutical industry or agency environment across Business Development, Portfolio, Commercial, or New Product Launch roles.
- Practical experience in NHS Gx market across hospital and retail; therapeutic area knowledge is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to influence stakeholders and confidently present recommendations to senior leadership.
- Proven project management experience with excellent organisational, prioritisation, and multi-tasking skills.
- Experience leading cross-functionally and managing complex launch, portfolio, or operational processes.
- Strong analytical and financial skills, with experience developing business cases and commercial assessments.
- Advanced computer literacy, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, databases, and commercial tracking tools.
- Ability to manage multiple high-profile projects with precision and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project delivery skills.
