Are you ready to take your procurement expertise to the next level? We are on the hunt for a passionate Buyer to lead the charge in both transactional direct purchasing and indirect procurement. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all purchasing activities for packaging and raw materials, ensuring seamless alignment with manufacturing demands, inventory policies, and GMP principles. Beyond that, you will provide leadership and support for indirect procurement, driving operational excellence across the site. How You Will Make an Impact
- Drive Procurement Excellence: Manage efficient transactional operations for all Direct and Indirect purchases supporting Natures Aid site operations.
- Streamline Supply Chain: Coordinate inbound deliveries, supplier communications, and customs clearance to ensure seamless operations.
- Lead Day-to-Day Procurement: Oversee PO issuance, adjustments, supplier acknowledgements, and delivery tracking with clear stakeholder updates.
- Shape Indirect Procurement Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement a robust Indirect procurement strategy for Natures Aid Technical Operations.
- Ensure Compliance & Reporting: Maintain supplier performance data, support EPR and Plastic tax obligations, and deliver timely, accurate reports.
- Support Business Needs: Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders, driving procurement solutions aligned with business goals.
What We Are Looking For
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role managing direct & indirect procurement.
- Experience within an FMCG or manufacturing environment is key (ideally but not essential is experience in the nutrients and supplements sector).
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a can-do attitude and business partnering ethos.
- Analytical approach and high level of attention to detail is critical, due to dealing with large amounts of data.
- Ability to work under own initiative.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems (we use MS Dynamics Business Central), Power BI and the wider MS Office suite.
- Collaborative and a strong team player.
