As the Gx Pricing & Portfolio Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing pricing strategies, portfolio optimization, and tool development for the Generics team. By delivering pricing opportunities and ensuring compliance measures, you will actively contribute to the continued growth and success of the business.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Develop and implement pricing strategies for generic pharmaceutical products in the UK market to achieve growth objectives.
- Conduct competitor, customer, and market analyses to inform portfolio lifecycle management and prioritization decisions.
- Lead portfolio management, including driving cost optimisation, overseeing tech transfers and troubleshooting regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, supply chain, and finance, to align pricing decisions with business goals.
- Monitor and analyse pricing performance to identify improvement opportunities.
- Ensure pricing compliance with local industry regulations and STADA global standards.
- Develop pricing tools and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
- Liaise with governmental agencies (e.g., DHSC & NHS BSA) to provide accurate portfolio information.
What Makes You A Great Fit
- Bachelors degree in business, maths, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in pricing, finance, or a related field; pharmaceutical industry experience (especially generics) preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proven project management skills and familiarity with pricing strategies/models.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements for pricing within the generics industry.
