About The Role

As the Commercial Finance Controller for Generics, Rx (Prescription), and Specialty, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making. Reporting directly to the UK CFO, with a dotted line to the Gx/Rx and Sx Directors, this role requires strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. You’ll be at the heart of business processes, ensuring value is added across all dynamics of the role.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Lead performance agendas with insights, challenging and guiding Sales & Marketing stakeholders.
  • Manage monthly business reporting for Gx, Rx, and Sx, including P&L analysis, performance reviews, and identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Drive proactive engagement in key business processes, such as S&OP and new product launches.
  • Lead the financial planning process for Gx, Rx, and Sx, including presenting strategies to the CEO and CFO.
  • Ensure balance sheet control across rebates, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Conduct generics pricing, rebate agreement, and tender review analysis.
  • Perform scenario modelling for market share and patient acquisition in specialty products.

What Makes You A Great Fit

  • CIMA or ACA accountancy qualification with a solid foundation of experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • High-level communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, with the skill to "bring stories to life" in presentations.
  • Proficiency in SAP, BI, and AI tools is preferred.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to work autonomously and take initiative when required.
