In this role, you’ll play a vital part in keeping laboratory equipment, instruments and analytical systems inspection-ready, fully compliant, and operating reliably across their lifecycle. You’ll deliver accurate, timely analytical support, help uphold GMP, cGMP, SHE, and quality standards, and contribute to the release of safe, high-quality products. How You Will Make an Impact
- Lead the full lifecycle of QC laboratory equipment and analytical instruments, from selection and qualification through to maintenance, review, and decommissioning.
- Drive compliance and inspection readiness by ensuring equipment, documentation, and laboratory practices consistently meet GMP, regulatory, and internal quality standards.
- Coordinate qualification, calibration, maintenance, and CSV activities, ensuring systems remain reliable, validated, and fit for purpose.
- Produce and maintain clear, accurate, audit-ready documentation, while supporting deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and data integrity requirements in line with ALCOA+ principles.
- Partner effectively across QC, QA, Engineering, Validation, IT, and external vendors to support method transfers, new product introduction, and wider laboratory improvements.
- Bring a proactive, detail-focused mindset to identifying anomalies, solving problems, improving workflows, and delivering high-quality analytical support in a fast-paced regulated environment.
What We Are Looking For
- Degree-qualified in a science discipline, or holding a Level 4 qualification, with relevant hands‑on QC laboratory experience.
- Confident using core analytical instrumentation, including HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, and balances.
- Strong grounding in GLP, with a disciplined approach to compliance, accuracy, and procedural rigour.
- Highly detail-focused, with the ability to follow written methods precisely and maintain consistently reliable records.
- Skilled in data analysis, with experience using LIMS and Excel to interpret results and support sound decision‑making.
- A collaborative and organised problem‑solver who communicates clearly, manages priorities effectively, and contributes positively to team success.
