Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Test Lead with over 10+ years of expertise in automotive testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Android Auto, test automation strategies, script development, and diverse automotive testing domains. This role involves leading validation activities, managing test teams, and ensuring robust quality processes for next-generation connected vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage testing activities for Android Auto and related infotainment systems.
- Develop and implement test automation strategies and frameworks.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using Python, CAPL, or similar languages.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Oversee functional, integration, and performance testing for automotive systems.
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards and OEM-specific validation requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in testing and automation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with premium passenger car infotainment programs.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to cybersecurity standards for connected vehicles.
- Knowledge of requirements management tools (DOORS, Polarion).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Automotive, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in automotive testing and validation.
- Strong expertise in Android Auto testing and infotainment systems.
- Proven experience in test automation frameworks and script development (Python, CAPL, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
