The Role
IT Support Specialist requires specialized technical skills and should have:
- Hands-on technical support for Dublin office
- Strong troubleshooting skills, experience with Mac/Windows, SaaS systems, and Google Workspace
Your Responsibilities
- IT and technical support to Dublin office.
- Troubleshoot Mac / Windows, SaaS systems, and Google Workspace.
- Technical troubleshooting: Installing and configuring client computer systems.
- Diagnosing and fixing computer, network, software (OS, apps), and mobile device issues via phone, chat, or in-person.
- Responding to client IT support requests.
- Meeting with clients to diagnose software, networking, or hardware issues.
- User support: Assisting employees with technology questions, guiding them through complex systems, and resolving support requests logged in ticketing systems.
- Hardware & software management: Installing, configuring, updating, and maintaining workstations, peripherals (printers, phones), operating systems, and business applications.
- System maintenance: Performing routine upkeep, monitoring performance, managing security (permissions, access), and ensuring system reliability.
- Onboarding & training: Setting up new user accounts, configuring new hire equipment, and training staff on new technology.
- Documentation: Recording support inquiries, resolutions, and maintaining internal knowledge bases.
- Project support: Assisting with IT projects, system rollouts, and hardware/software upgrades.
- Repairing hardware malfunctions, software issues, and networking problems.
