The Role: Salesforce Consultant
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and IT leaders to drive the development of refined business requirements.
- Transition solution designs and participate in workshops.
- Design, support, or re-engineer highly complex application solutions.
- Design, create, manage, and update complex data models, user interfaces, application security, business logic, and process automation.
- Recommend alternative approaches and best practices, define technical impact, and provide sizing estimates.
- Lead Salesforce implementation and provide engagement leadership.
- Oversee deployment of Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations as per best practices.
- Work closely with customers to ensure successful customer relationships and quality deliverables.
- Manage project stakeholders, resources, risks, and issues.
Key Skills / Knowledge / Experience
- Overall 15+ years; Salesforce technical experience 15+ years.
- Conduct business analysis workshops to understand business goals and processes, understand pain points, and translate them to stories and functional design.
- Good understanding of Salesforce's technical features and functionalities.
- Provide training, support, and guidance to the end-users of the solution.
- Experienced in monitoring and maintaining adherence to estimates, timelines, and milestones.
- Experience in leading and providing technical/analytical guidance.
- The individual can manage application developers in designing, developing, and supporting application solutions.
- This grade includes senior-level professionals with the experience and capability to effectively manage complex project activities and project change as well as deep subject matter expertise.
- Certification: PD1 is a must, with PD2 adding more value.
- Understand Salesforce object model and relationship.
- Experience in custom development such as LWC, Apex, Triggers, Batch process.
- Experience in config development such as Flows, Layout business workflow.
- Knowledge on Bit Bucket or any Version Control Tool.
