This role is to lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex, multi-workstream payments integration programme. This role will oversee complex change, integration, and migration of multiple payment rails. Our programmes typically span multiple internal technology towers and external delivery partners, with accountability for technology outcomes sitting within the client.

You will operate in a highly regulated, high-visibility environment, requiring robust governance, risk management, and delivery control across multiple workstreams and third-party suppliers.

To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading complex, multi-workstream technology programmes across multiple payment types (e.g. Faster Payments, Bacs, ICS, Swift, CHAPS, SEPA).
  • Establishing and maintaining integrated Technology programme governance across client and key third-party delivery partners.
  • Owning the consolidated technology delivery plan, critical path, RAID management, and dependency mapping.
  • Ensuring robust risk, control and regulatory oversight aligned to client's risk framework.
  • Managing third-party delivery performance and holding suppliers accountable for agreed milestones and quality outcomes.
  • Driving alignment across impacted technology towers (e.g. Core Banking, Infrastructure, Fraud, Financial Crime, Data, Operations) to ensure delivery integrity.
  • Overseeing migration readiness, operational design, and go-live planning, including coordination of scheme testing and notifications.
  • Providing clear and structured reporting to senior stakeholders and steering forums, escalating issues proactively where required.
