The Role
Critical role to help define the asset strategy for a leading utilities customer.
Your Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Architecture: Translate business requirements into High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents. Collaborate with customer technical teams for design validation and sign-off.
- Implementation & Integration: Guide development teams during build and implementation phases. Design and implement solutions, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders. Develop web applications using GSS, Java, and open-source technologies. Integrate GE Small world with external systems via REST APIs using GSS.
- Data Management: Design data update services for external integrations. Manage data migration from legacy systems to Small world.
- Documentation & Communication: Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and client-facing presentations.
Your Profile
Essential Skills / Knowledge / Experience:
- Expertise in GE Small world Product Suite and layered products.
- Strong knowledge of Small world 5.x architecture, Mobile Enterprise Suite, and Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).
- Proficiency in GSS, JavaScript, HTML5 for mobile and web development.
- Experience with system integrations like IBM Maximo.
Desirable Skills / Knowledge / Experience:
- Good communication
- Customer facing
- Willing to travel and ability to work with remote teams
