Ready to lead reliability, automation, and production stability for mission critical integration platforms? We have an exciting opportunity for you as a TIBCO BW Platform SRE Lead!
The Role
As a Platform SRE Lead, you will be responsible for the reliability, automation, and production stability of mission critical TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW) integration platforms within BFSI environments. You will combine deep TIBCO BW expertise with Site Reliability Engineering practices, CI/CD automation, and strong incident and change management to ensure platform resilience, regulatory compliance, and service continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure 24/7 availability, performance, and reliability of TIBCO BW and BWCE platforms in production BFSI environments.
- Lead production support, major incident management, and root cause analysis for mission critical integrations.
- Apply SRE principles such as SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets to improve platform resilience and reduce operational risk.
- Build and manage Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, rollback, and release of BW applications.
- Drive proactive monitoring and alerting for BW services and dependent components to meet BFSI SLAs.
- Govern change and release management processes in line with BFSI regulatory and audit requirements.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to design secure, scalable, and fault tolerant integration solutions.
- Lead and participate in on call or shift based support models while mentoring BW SRE and support engineers.
- Promote automation, standardisation, and operational excellence across the platform landscape.
Your Profile
Essential Skills / Knowledge / Experience
- Strong hands on development and platform support experience using the TIBCO integration stack.
- Proven expertise in TIBCO BW 6.x, TIBCO FTL, TIBCO MFT, and API Mashery.
- Experience in Incident, Problem, Service, and Deployment Management.
- Strong background in Change Management and platform support operations.
- Experience working with at least one enterprise monitoring or observability tool.
- Knowledge of Jenkins pipeline deployments and CI/CD automation.
- Strong stakeholder communication and engagement skills.
Desirable Skills / Knowledge / Experience
- Banking or BFSI domain experience.
- Experience working with global clients and multicultural teams.
