Role: Validation Engineer MHEV System
Required Technical Skill Set:
- INCA / Canalyzer / Corvus / Matlab / picoscope / MDA
Desired Experience Range: 5 - 12 Years
Location: Birmingham (2 to 3 days)
Desired Competencies:
- Engineering knowledge of ICE/MHEV propulsion systems / integration experience
- Base overview of Hybrid & Electric Vehicle propulsion systems
- A working knowledge of electrical engineering and battery technology including system interactions
- Powertrain system & technical issue management experience
- Experience of working in engineering facilities, rig environments and vehicle testing
- User of diagnostic / data analysis tools: INCA / Canalyzer / Corvus / Matlab / picoscope / MDA
- Experienced in solving complex technical issues using a structured approach, using Six Sigma or similar processes
- Experience applying a Systems Engineering approach
- Ability to build and manage multiple internal and external relationships, working collaboratively across commodities, domains, and functions
- A full UK Driving Licence / JLR Class 2 or equivalent
- JLR Class 3PG driving permit
- Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Experience of JIRA

- Supporting resolution of propulsion system issues
- Support vehicle build / PIL to provide MHEV system technical support and problem resolution
- Support vehicle / PIL level fault diagnosis relevant to ICE / MHEV powerpack
- DVP creation, test case, procedure, and requirements writing
- System definition and validation activities
