The Senior SME HR & Payroll France acts as the functional authority for French HR Operations and Payroll. The role ensures regulatory compliance, payroll accuracy, and operational continuity across all France-specific HR and payroll activities, while serving as the highest escalation point for complex cases, audits, and payroll-critical issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Primary SME for French labor law, payroll, and statutory compliance.
  • Ownership of France-specific HR lifecycle processes (hires, contracts, terminations, absences, working time).
  • Ensure correct application of Collective Bargaining Agreements (CCN).
  • Functional validation and sign-off of payroll-critical transactions.
  • Oversight of DSN, URSSAF, Net-Entreprises, and statutory declarations.
  • Audit support and proactive compliance risk management.
  • Final escalation point for complex or high-risk France HR/payroll cases.
  • Direct support during payroll close to prevent errors or regulatory exposure.
