ForgeRock and Ping AIC Engineer
Role / Job Title: ForgeRock and Ping AIC Engineer
Work Location: Leamington / Gaydon (2 to 3 days)
The Role
This role involves designing, implementing, and managing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using Ping\’s Advanced Identity Software (formerly ForgeRock) and Ping Identity\’s Advanced Identity Cloud (AIC). The engineer will ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of these systems, integrate them with various applications, and provide technical expertise to the team and stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
Design, Implementation, and Deployment
- Install, configure, and deploy ForgeRock and PingOne AIC components across different environments (on-premise, cloud, hybrid).
- Develop custom workflows, authentication/authorization policies, and integrations using platform-specific tools and scripting languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Groovy).
- Implement SSO, MFA, and Federation protocols such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.
- Configure and manage directories (LDAP, Active Directory) in conjunction with IAM platforms.
- Automate deployment and configuration tasks using tools like Ansible, Terraform, etc.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, highly available, and compliant with security standards.
Management and Administration
- Maintain the health and performance of ForgeRock and PingOne AIC environments.
- Monitor logs and system metrics to proactively resolve issues.
- Perform upgrades, patching, and migrations of IAM components.
- Develop and update operational procedures and runbooks.
Integration
- Integrate ForgeRock and PingOne AIC with web, mobile, API, and SaaS applications.
- Develop and utilize RESTful APIs for IAM functionalities.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and collaborate with application teams for seamless identity management.
Your Profile
Essential Skills / Knowledge / Experience
- 3β5 yearsβ experience implementing ForgeRock solutions (AM, IDM, DS).
- Experience with automated deployment and configuration of these tools.
- Experience with IG and PingOne AIC is desirable.
Desirable Skills / Knowledge / Experience
- Experience working in Agile environments.
