Reports to: Head of Sales & Marketing UK 3PL Division

Hours: 37.5

Location: UK (flexible) with significant UK travel

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum

Car Allowance: £5,900 per annum

Commission: generous commission based on 1st years revenue

Job Purpose

To identify appropriate business opportunities for Staci and deliver new clients to the business in line with the overall company strategy and individual sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • To meet individual sales targets.
  • To identify organisations and key decision makers / influencers within organisations to identify potential business opportunities.
  • To develop and maintain excellent customer / prospect relations with those identified to gain future opportunities for Staci.
  • To develop a suitable sales proposition for each new opportunity.
  • To prospect and research potential clients in line with the marketing plan and to support the marketing plan as directed by the Head of Sales & Marketing.
  • To build strong internal relationships with operational departments and to assist them in scoping and costing the appropriate solution.
  • Undertake other reasonable duties as required in order to support the business.

Person Specification

Highly motivated, results oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on client satisfaction and commercial delivery. A highly creative and charismatic individual, able to effectively interface at all levels within the prospective clients, our suppliers and within our company. Smart appearance and articulate.

Critical Skills

  • Demonstrable experience and success in winning high value (£500k+) outsourced service contracts.
  • Sales experience with recognisable brands.
  • Exceptional client manner, strong and clear communication skills.
  • Excellent written communication.
  • Excellent communicator and effective presentation style.
  • Commercially aware i.e. able to analyse appropriate financial data and interpret to the commercial benefit of all parties.
  • Good standard of IT literacy, particularly Excel and PowerPoint products.
  • Able to work closely with Operational colleagues both on proposal / proposition development and also initial support of the implementation process.
