About Stablepharma

Stablepharma is a biotechnology company pioneering thermostable vaccines & pharmaceuticals to eliminate cold-chain dependency and expand global access to essential medicines. We operate at the intersection of science, strategy, and impact—collaborating with global partners to deliver fridge-free pharmaceutical solutions.

We are hiring a Strategy & Business Development Analyst to play a central, cross functional role in shaping our strategic, financial, and commercial activities.

The role

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this is a broad, high impact role spanning strategy, finance, fundraising, and business development, with exposure to Board level decision-making and external partners. You will work closely with the leadership team and across functions to support growth, partnerships, and fundraising.

Key responsibilities

  • Strategy & Finance
    • Build and maintain short- and long-term financial models, integrating market research and data analysis.
    • Assess new product, platform, and partnership opportunities (commercial and financial viability, risk/return).
    • Prepare strategy and commercial materials for Board meetings and company-wide updates.
    • Create and maintain fundraising materials (non-confidential summaries, investor pitch decks).
    • Support management of relationships with investment banks and corporate finance advisers.
  • Business Development & Partnerships
    • Lead project management of co-development programmes, including becoming the primary coordination point for external counterparties.
    • Identify and approach prospective partners; prepare BD materials and external presentations.
    • Develop proposals and support initial commercial term discussions (with progression to leading negotiations as you grow in the role).

About you (qualifications & skills)

  • 1–3 years’ experience in strategy, finance, consulting, or biotech/life sciences business development.
  • Comfortable building and maintaining financial and commercial models and translating insights into clear recommendations.
  • Strong slide-building skills (PowerPoint) with a knack for clear storytelling.
  • Highly organised, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders, external partners, and advisers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in global health, vaccines, or pharmaceutical development (a life sciences degree is highly desirable).

Nice to have

  • Advanced Excel (e.g., dynamic arrays, XLOOKUP, scenario/sensitivity analysis); experience with NPV/royalty/COGS modelling.
  • Familiarity with pharma/market datasets (e.g., IQVIA/MIDAS) and BD processes (term sheets, diligence).

Why join Stablepharma

  • Opportunity to work on globally impactful technology.
  • High-visibility role with exposure to the Board, investors, and partners.
  • Broad remit with significant ownership and autonomy.
  • Collaborative, mission-driven team environment.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary
  • Eligibility for the company share option scheme.
  • Hybrid working model with a quarterly work-from-home allowance.
  • Private medical and dental insurance.
  • 28 days’ annual leave

Location & right to work: London-based hybrid role. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
