My client is a high growth consultancy that provides cutting edge digital solutions deployed in highly secure environments.
Due to ongoing expansion, they are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join their team. The company is truly innovative and embraces individuals who want to showcase their abilities.
The company typically uses Azure , DevOps , Gitlab , Terraform , Ansible , and languages such as Go , Bash , and Python to manage and deploy to their Cloud (Azure / AWS) and On-Prem environments.
The Role:
- Hands-On Engineering with an MVP approach
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS) using Terraform and automation.
- Lead troubleshooting, performance optimisation, and incident resolution to enhance reliability.
- Ensure best practices in CI/CD pipelines, observability, and infrastructure deployment.
- Build and design solutions with an MVP approach to enhance existing platforms
- Ensure systems comply with security standards and best practices.
- Implement and maintain security measures, including patch management and vulnerability assessments.
- Assist in audits and compliance initiatives as required.
Experience Required:
- Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering, with hands-on experience in ideally both Azure and AWS environments.
- Expertise in DevOps principles, including automation, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
- Strong understanding of regulatory and security requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage stakeholders, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive alignment on reliability and operational priorities.
- Embracing problem-solving and designing new solutions.
The role will be a Hybrid model with 2-3 days on customer site.
Due to the nature of the role, you MUST have SC clearance.
