The Opportunity
Our client is a major IT managed service consultancy based in Newport with an impressive portfolio of client’s across diverse markets.
As part of their ongoing growth strategy they are seeking to appoint a Commercial Manager who will be working closely with the Commercial Director and be responsible for leading and implementing the commercial strategy and execution to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share.
The role will be varied and will include Contract Negotiation, Tender/Bid evaluation and Pricing strategies for new and existing clients.
The Role:
- Support the Commercial Director in developing and implement the company’s commercial strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Negotiate and manage both New and existing commercial contracts and agreements.
- Evaluate Bid/tender viability and manage proposals from start to finish
- Advise on all aspects of the proposal process
- Advise on key commercial decisions regarding pricing strategy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Analyse and implement pricing strategies, go-to-market plans, and product/service positioning.
The Person
- Proven experience in a Senior Commercial or Major Key Accounts role within a Managed Service environment
- Strong financial acumen and experience within pricing and Tender processes
- Extensive experience in all aspects of contract negotiation and costing
- Excellent negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience within an IT Services arena will be highly desirable
As well as an excellent salary of circa £60K the company offer Free on-site parking , Free healthcare and Life assurance
