Stable are proud to be offering a new graduate Internship opportunity located in Cardiff, Wales. This is a twelve-month programme (Year in Industry) ideally suited to individuals who have recently graduated with a degree in Information Technology. You will be part of Stable's Delivery Engagement Team working mostly but not exclusively in a support capacity.
Stable Support Engineers are the frontline of Stable’s support function, providing a reliable and responsive first point of contact for customers and internal teams. The role is responsible for receiving, logging and triaging support requests, resolving common technical issues where possible and ensuring incidents are progressed or escalated appropriately. Through clear communication, accurate ticket management and a focus on service quality, the Support Engineer helps maintain service continuity while ensuring users feel informed and supported throughout the support process.
Interns will gain practical experience supporting cloud-based Microsoft technologies and enterprise platforms including Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Defender, Purview, Dynamics 365 and Azure. The role offers exposure to modern workplace technologies, cloud infrastructure and cyber security best practices.
The ideal candidate will have recently graduated with a degree in Information Technology or a related subject. Alternatively, this role would suit someone wanting to transfer into IT from any other subject studied at Higher Education. Importantly, the candidate would have an enthusiasm for technology and a genuine interest in cloud computing, cyber security and modern workplace solutions.

- Microsoft Intune device and application management
- Microsoft Entra ID identity management
- Microsoft Defender security technologies

- Dynamics 365 business applications
- Power Platform fundamentals
- Security, compliance and governance concepts
- Incident and service request management
- Customer engagement and stakeholder communication
- Technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis

- Reliable transportation, as occasional on-call issues will require after-hours visits to the facility. Available to travel as needed (less than 5%).
- Flexible, highly organized; ability to multi-task, re-prioritizing as needed, consistently delivering on time.
- Solid telephone presence along with a calm and professional demeanour.
- Effective verbal and written communications.
- Experience supporting IOS, Android.
- Exposure to Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Azure, Defender, Power Platform or Dynamics 365.
- Experience supporting Apple tooling such as MacOS and iOS.
- Skills leading to attainment of Microsoft recognised certifications (blue badges).
- Some exposure to cloud computing such as AWS, Azure and Google.
- Scripting/programming skills would be helpful such as PowerShell, Bash, C#, Python, JavaScript.
- Some exposure to HTML and CSS.
- Awareness of modern endpoint management, security and compliance technologies including Microsoft Intune.
- Experience or knowledge of Dynamics 365.
- Awareness of emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI), such as Microsoft Copilot.
