Mid-Morning Cleaner - Leicester City Centre - (2.5 Hours a day - Mon to Fri)

We are seeking a diligent and reliable cleaning operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene through the communal areas of the residential building they are working in. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing a clean and welcoming environment for all occupants.

The location of work is situated in Leicester City Centre (close to the Highcross Shopping Centre). Postcode; LE3 5BD

Times of Work

Monday to Friday - 10:00am to 12:30pm (2.5 hours a day)

Total Hours Per Week; 12.5hrs per week

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used safely and stored correctly.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and schedules to ensure consistency in service delivery.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve efficient cleaning operations across all designated areas.

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning is not essential; training will be provided.
• A strong understanding of health and safety practices related to cleaning operations is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
