The predicted salary is between 31650 - 40000 £ per year.
We are seeking an individual who can provide 1:1 support for a child with Special Educational Needs, enabling access to the curriculum, promoting communication and emotional regulation, and supporting positive social interaction within a nurturing and structured environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by helping a child to engage in learning, develop independence and communication skills, and thrive within our caring school community.
Desirable skills/experience:
- Experience of working with children with autism and communication and interaction needs
- Experience supporting emotional regulation and anxiety
- Experience of working from Speech & Language advice and delivering planned strategies
- Ability to follow structured routines and support transitions
- Experience in an educational setting
- Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative
- Good English and maths skills (GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent)
- Excellent communication skills and a calm, professional manner
- Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality
- Willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the school
