Responsibilities
- Our Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work as part of our committed staff team for Reception and EYFS in the first instance.
- Hours of work: 08.30am – 3.30pm.
Requirements
- Have experience working with EYFS children.
- Have experience working with children with additional needs and possess a range of strategies to support children with challenging behaviour.
- Have good mathematical and English skills.
- Be able to form positive relationships with children, families and staff.
- Be able to support the children within the class, during break times and around the school.
- Have a calm, patient approach to supporting the needs of children.
- Be able to use their initiative to support learning & behaviour.
- Be adaptable to situations and willing to work as part of a team.
- Be willing to undertake training and attend meetings as necessary.
