2 x positions available: Teaching Assistant Level 2/Play worker - It is expected that one person will take up both posts.
- Position 1: Salary: Grade 3, £21,167 per annum. £13.26 per hour
- Teaching Assistant level 2 - 28.75 hours per week, term time plus 1 week working 39 weeks per year
- Play Worker 7 hours per week, term time plus 1 week working 39 weeks per year
- Position 2: Salary: Grade 3, £20,575 per annum. £13.26 per hour
- Teaching Assistant level 2 - 28.75 hours per week, term time plus 1 week working 39 weeks per year
- Play Worker 6 hours per week, term time plus 1 week working 39 weeks per year

The Governors of St Wilfrid’s Church of England Primary Academy are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work as SEND support, working with individual or groups of children with Special Educational Needs and Disability.
You will work closely with the SENDCo, class teacher and outside agencies to enable the child or children to access a personalised and relevant curriculum, maximising their learning and development.
The successful candidate will also undertake some work in our wrap around care provision. You will play an active role in the life of our Outstanding school and be part of a hard-working and committed team.
The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent basic skills.
- Be able to deliver specific support to ensure that children with SEND make positive progress.
- Be an experienced practitioner.
- Be enthusiastic and hardworking.
- Be flexible, well organised, patient and caring.
- Be able to provide high quality specialist support to pupil learning.
- Be able to support after school care across the school.
Our Teaching Assistants are extremely well supported, and we offer professional development opportunities. Our Kidz Klub is open from 7.45am to 9.00am and 3.15pm to 6.00pm. The hours to be worked will be confirmed at interview.
