We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Bank Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly care home team. This is a flexible, bank staff position covering shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.
Main Duties
- Assist with preparing and serving meals for residents
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas
- Wash dishes and kitchen equipment
- Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Support the cook / chef as required
- Ensure residents receive meals in a respectful and friendly manner
Requirements
- Previous kitchen or catering experience preferred but not essential
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of food hygiene standards
- Reliable, flexible, and caring attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
